but thats also running the same driver 347.52, newer driver seem fine on that 361.43 works fine but i backdated that drive too so i can get more stable framerates (newer drivers i seem to get more of a wide dip from 50's to lower 30's in Far Cry 4 ) I think its just Nvidia's sloppy drivers with windows 10, never had a problem when i ran Windows 7 Ultimate, when i plug in my old Hard Drive that still has win 7 on it, i have no problems at all.

I also do not use, or install geforce experience, just the driver, and HDMI Audio and PhysXĪnd always use DDU when trying other drivers I hope Nvidia starts releaseing better drivers as i had other driver weirdness too just with my Desktop, like real blurry text on my Desktop, as if the scaling is screwed up, and not a single Nvidia windows 10 driver allows me to use custom resolutions between my 24 inch screen and my 40 inch one like the old ones do. You have to use the show hide driver tool from microsoft to use Pre Windows 10 drivers , all work fine.Īnd its just a pain to keep win 10 from forceing the drivers to update older COD games ,far cry1 -3 and blood dragon,crysis wars, serious sam, old soldier of fortune games ect ect. Game looks fine to me and plays stutter free on my system with zero crashes God rays - off- not a fan of how it looks Same with every Windows 10 driver Nvidia released so far on my Asus Strix GTX 960 it does not fully crash or lock, just freezes for a second, and drops to from full screen to windowed borderless and i have to hit alt + enter to bring it back to full screen I'm using 347.52 with all nividia gameworks off = no crashes ,no hitchģ61.43 = i get a hitch every now and then and my game drops to windowed mode, in a few games like this and the Witcher 3.
